Climbing fun. Even for children! PIROL KIDS

Children love to go beyond their limits. With climbing, children can thoroughly enjoy themselves. LOWA’s PIROL KIDS is a climbing shoe developed for children’s feet that is simply tons of fun. It’s fun because their feet are always well-ventilated thanks to the material perforation, because the inner lining is comfortable and, last but not least, because the grippy sole design provides freedom for growing feet.

    New routes, new adventures

Bouldering is defined as climbing close to the ground and without ropes . It can be performed on natural boulders or in climbing gyms on artificial climbing walls. When bouldering outside, a crashpad is used to prevent injuries should a climber fall. In climbing gyms, mats are permanently installed. Classic pieces of equipment for bouldering include climbing shoes and a chalk bag.

    • High-friction sole
A good sole for a climbing shoe will produce a high degree of friction and and thereby perfectly mould the shoe to the surface of the rock or climbing wall.

    • Fit
For the wearer to be able to stand on the narrowest of edges, the shoe must perfectly fit and optimally encase the foot.

    • Generalist
Routes taken in bouldering often vary significantly. For the shoe to perfectly meet every challenge, it should be designed with a broad range of uses in mind.

Upper material

Microfibres are the result of a processing system for materials made of very fine fibres with a maximum thread size of 1 dtex. Microfibres are artificially produced from either petrochemical or renewable materials. The qualities of microfibres reflect those of the particular raw material used: They are particularly soft and stable. Microfibre fabric also dries especially fast, is comfortable to wear and has breathable qualities that enable sweat to escape from the material.
