Global Category Manager Trail Running (m/w/d)

We are looking for you!

Your tasks:

Adopt global LOWA brand and business strategy to the Trail Running category and develop global category strategy and plans which drive category market share, distribution and profitability
Identify globally relevant Key Business Drivers (KBDs), design plans and KPIs to target and track commercial success
Establish competitive pricing strategies to maximize product margin performance yet ensure affordability for target consumers
Ensure accurate and in time forecasting
Education of existing LOWA sales teams on seasonal offering (product, price, programs); support sell in on request
Own the category business relationship with major accounts (t.b.c. with sales team).
Identify and on-board new accounts specialized in the Trail Running category
Collaborate with marketing team on effective category marketing strategies, communication channels and investments choices and event series
Create effective product briefs for global brand and category partners which reflect critical consumer benefits; base briefings on consumer insight and fact-based market knowledge incl. competition

Your profile:

Bachelor or Masters degree in business relevant field – MBA preferred
3-5 years of work experience in branded consumer goods industry with a proven track record, preferably in the running/trail running related industry
Kept up to date with digital commerce knowledge
Has worked several years in senior sales function in a matrix environment
Motivated self-starter with high energy level
Was involved in building and implementing strategic plans
Leadership and influencing skills and strong execution power
Effective interpersonal skills; ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Fluent in English and German, third language a plus
Travel share 40% +
