Matthias Spanrad

A SPECIAL KIND OF CLASS TRIP

For many people, crossing the Alps by bike is a challenge that is as appealing as it is demanding. Matthias Spanrad, a teacher at Maristen Gymnasium Furth, has been tackling this challenge for several years - not alone, but together with his students. In our new podcast episode, Matthias explains how the idea, which once originated in the staff room, came about and how the proposal was accepted by the pupils. He also talks about the hurdles involved in crossing the Alps and explains what the students can take away from such an experience. Have fun listening!
