CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
Persons residing in the DACH region are eligible to participate. Employees of LOWA Sportschuhe GmbH or its affiliated companies, their relatives and all persons involved in the creation of this competition are excluded from participation. Only participants with Facebook accounts that represent a person with the correct name are permitted. Participation with fake identities or identities of third parties is not permitted.
Participation is independent of the use of services. Using the services offered by the organiser or subscribing to the newsletter does not increase the chances of winning. By uploading a photo or video, each participant declares that they hold all existing rights to the photo or video they have uploaded and that they are not infringing any third-party rights by publishing their photo on Facebook. This includes in particular third-party copyrights or personal rights of photographed persons. The participant shall indemnify the organiser against claims by third parties arising from the infringement of such rights and the costs of legal action. The photos or videos may not infringe the personal rights of third parties. Names or images of third parties require their written consent. By uploading the video, the participant grants LOWA permission to use the uploaded material on LOWA websites, blogs and social media channels.
The organiser is not responsible for the behaviour of the participants and the content published by the participants as part of the competition (photos, accompanying texts, accompanying information on persons, etc.) and does not adopt these as its own. Furthermore, the organiser is not obliged to check such content, but reserves the right to withdraw its publication and exclude it from the competition if there are concrete indications that the content violates legal requirements, official prohibitions, third-party rights or public decency.
Participation takes place via Facebook by liking the LOWA post, leaving a comment on which via ferrata he/she has always wanted to climb and following the Facebook channel of LOWA (DE, CH) and the Facebook channel of via-ferrata on Facebook. Only if all conditions are met (follow, like and comment) will you be entered into the prize draw. The winners will be announced within 3 working days of the end of the entry period via a comment in the comment column of the competition post. The winners are then obliged to send their full name and address to LOWA (DE, CH) Facebook via private message or by e-mail to mach-mit@lowa.de in order to claim the prize and initiate the dispatch of the prize. If the address has not been sent to LOWA Sportschuhe GmbH by 28.08.2024, 12:00 noon, the prize will be forfeited.
Prize:
2×2 places for a via ferrata day in Konstein in Altmühltal on Saturday 14/09/2024 (alternative date in case of bad weather 15/09/2024).
Other and additional costs such as travelling or accommodation etc. are not included.
CLAIMING THE PRIZES:
Payment of the prize is not possible.
(For non-cash prizes: The prize will be sent to the winner by post. The address provided by the winner will be used to send the prize. The winner must ensure that the address is correct. LOWA Sportschuhe GmbH is not liable for undeliverable parcels/letters due to an incorrect address provided by the winner)
CANCELLATION OPTION:
The organiser reserves the right to suspend, prematurely terminate or cancel the competition at any time without giving reasons. This right will be exercised in particular if the proper organisation of the competition cannot be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons.
RESPONSIBLE PARTY:
The competition is not supported by Facebook and has no connection with Facebook and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by Facebook. Any questions, comments or complaints about the competition should be directed to the LOWA Sportschuhe GmbH address.
LEGAL:
Legal recourse is excluded with regard to the drawing of the winners and the judgement of the content of the competition entries submitted.
DATA PROTECTION:
By participating, the participant agrees that his/her submitted data will be stored exclusively for the purpose of organising the competition. The data will be deleted at the end of the competition. Personal data will not be stored for commercial purposes. It will not be passed on to third parties. All transmitted information is subject to the organiser's data protection regulations.
Participants agree that their photos and their names may be publicly disclosed to third parties in connection with the competition, the selection of winners, processing or presentation of entries by the organiser or third parties commissioned by the organiser in the online area (e.g. on the Facebook page or website) and in print (and in this context may in particular be reproduced, distributed and made publicly accessible by the organiser and third parties commissioned by the organiser).
Applicable law:
The competition is subject exclusively to German law, provided that this does not conflict with any mandatory consumer protection regulations, which shall remain valid in this case.
