Growing up in the Schneibsteinhaus, her parents' mountain hut in the heart of the Berchtesgaden Alps, Nina learnt to know and love the mountains at a young age. Her love for the mountains and her homeland awakened in Nina the desire to turn her hobby into a profession at an early age, and so she became Germany's youngest and Berchtesgaden's only state-certified mountain and ski guide. From then on, she also dedicated herself to competitive ice climbing. She achieved impressive results at her very first competition, the Ice Climbing Festival in Kandersteg in 2011. She climbed her way to 3rd place alongside the winner Ines Papert (LOWA PRO Team). In the new episode, she tells us what her recipe for success is and why she still focuses mainly on the mountains and alpine challenges.
