Paznaun High Mountain Trail - Stage 3: The smugglers' stage

Starting in Kappl, this stage leads along the Rotweg chapel to the Visnitz Alm. At the end of the Visnitz valley, you first reach the lower Zollhütte and shortly afterwards the upper Zollhütte. A narrow path leads you to the eastern Visnitzjoch, which is located in Switzerland. Above Alp Bella, a narrow path runs below the Mullersattel and takes you directly to the lakes and the Flimjoch. From this point, the route leads downhill on Austrian soil to the Obere Velillalpe and finally to Ischgl.
