LOWA has always put a lot of development work into the children's shoe segment. For example, all children's shoes are manufactured using a special last that offers more space in the toe area - space that children's feet need for healthy development. This is due to the fact that children's bone tissue is not yet fully developed. In addition, the ligaments are much more elastic and the sensation of pain is less well developed.
If parents ask their child in the shoe shop whether the shoe is too big or too small, it can be difficult to get an answer. Children can curl their toes together without it becoming uncomfortable.
Removing the insole not only allows you to check the correct length, but also whether the shoe fits in width. This process should be repeated at regular intervals to ensure that the children have not outgrown their shoes.
"Children should enjoy exercise. They should want to go outside. Unfortunately, there are more and more children who don't feel confident walking. That's why it's important to me that they wear good shoes. They should have fun running."
