The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions that authorise or oblige us to process data, or you have given us your express consent to do so. The following data protection information covers both the current legal framework under the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) or the Telemedia Act (TMG), as well as the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) valid from 25 May 2018. As the controller, LOWA Sportschuhe GmbH is obliged to inform data subjects about certain factual and legal circumstances relating to data protection. This information is intended to enable data subjects to gain knowledge of the scope and processing of their data. Under no circumstances do we sell your data or pass it on to third parties outside the LOWA Sportschuhe group of companies.

The data subject has given consent to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes.
Legitimate interest Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR
Processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child.

d) Recipient of the data
Your data is processed by employees who are exclusively authorised to collect and use personal data. The employees are trained in data protection law and are obliged to maintain data secrecy.
The newsletter is sent by e-mail via the companies Newsletter2Go or MailChimp.
LOWA Footscan 360° stores the results of the foot measurement with the company netvico GmbH.
e) Transmission to third countries

f) Duration of storage
We store the data collected for contract processing until the expiry of the statutory or possible contractual warranty and guarantee rights. After expiry of these periods, we retain the information required under commercial and tax law for the contractual relationship for the legally specified periods of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c) GDPR. For this period, the data will only be processed again in the event of a review by the tax authorities.

g) Rights of data subjects
According to Art. 15 - 21 GDPR, you have the following rights as a data subject:

Right to erasure of your data stored by us, if permissible.
Right to restriction of processing of your data, if statutory retention periods exist.
Right to object to processing. Under the conditions of Article 21(1) GDPR, processing may be objected to on grounds relating to the particular situation of the data subject pursuant to Article 6(1)(e) or (f).
If applicable, right to data portability, i.e. to receive your stored data in a structured format (from 25 May 2018).
