Hermannshöhen

The tour starts at the landmark of the city of Bielefeld, Sparrenberg Castle, and runs through the small mountain town of Oerlinghausen, past the Donoper ponds and then up a steep climb to the Hermann monument. The legendary Externsteine are also on your way, before you head up to the highest elevation in the Teutoburg Forest, the twin peaks of Velmerstot. The tour ends in the railway town of Altenbeken.
