The seventh stage of the Weserbergland Trail leads through Stadtoldendorf to Amelungsborn Monastery. The freely accessible monastery grounds are known for their monastery garden with historic medicinal herbs. You then hike uphill to the 26-metre-high Ebersnackenturm tower, which offers a spectacular 360° view over the valleys and ridges of the Weserbergland. The route continues along quiet forest and nature trails via the Vogler to the next viewpoint, the Königszinne. From here, follow the markings down to the Weser to Bodenwerder, home of Baron von Münchhausen.
