Tom Dauer 

Tom Dauer grew up in Mexico City and Munich. His parents taught him to love the mountains, and he later spent many years travelling and climbing in the Alps, the Andes and the Himalayas. Today, the literary scholar and graduate of the German School of Journalism prefers to work in the mountains of the world, where he can combine his passion with his profession. He is also the director of the Tegernsee Mountain Film Festival and is delighted that LOWA will remain the main sponsor until 2026.
