LOWA REPORTS POSITIVE 2024 RESULT

Second-best financial year in the company's history

Jetzendorf, 29 April 2025 - LOWA continued its stable development in the 2024 financial year and achieved further growth in key segments - despite ongoing challenges in the market environment. The outdoor shoemaker recorded the second-best result in its history and is now setting its strategic course for the coming years.

While the outdoor industry continues to struggle with uncertainties, LOWA is proving resilient. With a turnover of 233.9 million euros (+1.9%) and sales of 2.97 million pairs of shoes (+0.8%), the company recorded the second-best result in its history. The kids, winter shoes and trail running segments performed particularly well, making a significant contribution to the positive business development. The trail running segment in particular, which already exceeded expectations in 2023, tripled its production volume in 2024 as planned.

"Our diversified product portfolio gives us the flexibility we need to be successful even in a challenging market environment," says LOWA Managing Director Alexander Nicolai. "At the same time, we continue to invest consistently - in our products, our team and our production capacities. This ensures that we not only respond to short-term challenges, but also remain competitive in the long term."

Close collaboration with specialist retailers remains a key success factor. "Our retail partners are an essential part of our success," emphasises Nicolai. "Together, we can respond specifically to the needs of our customers and ensure sustainable growth."

The spring/summer 2025 collection was launched with targeted innovations for a young, modern and athletic target group, while proven product lines were further developed. "With this strategy, we want to continuously increase our sales in the coming years and generate stable growth in the long term," says Alexander Nicolai. The focus will be on the internationalisation and digitalisation of the brand, where initial successes can already be seen today.

LOWA expects continued stable development in 2025. "We will continue to develop this year - with new products, optimised processes and strong partnerships," summarises Nicolai.
