LOWA achieves best result in company history

Despite a challenging market environment:

Jetzendorf, April 21, 2026 – LOWA achieved the highest revenue in its company history in the 2025 financial year, sending a strong signal in what remains a demanding market environment. With growth in both sales volume and revenue, the outdoor footwear manufacturer reinforces its strong position in the European market.

With sales of around 3.1 million pairs of shoes (+5.0%) and revenue of €242.1 million (+3.5%), the LOWA Group reached a new record level in 2025. The company exceeded overall market performance and increased its market share across several key regions.

“It is by no means a given that we were able to achieve the best result in our company’s history in this market environment,” says Alexander Nicolai, General Manager Operations at LOWA. “This highlights the strength of our portfolio, our production strategy, and our close cooperation with retailers.”

The outdoor industry in 2025 continued to be characterized by uncertainty – among other things due to stagnant consumer sentiment and structural shifts within the market. In this environment, LOWA proved resilient and benefited from its broadly positioned product portfolio and clear strategic direction. In particular, the continued demand for more athletic low- and mid-cut models as well as trail running shoes contributed positively to business development. At the same time, LOWA continued to invest in product development, processes, and organization.

A key success factor last year was once again the close and long-standing partnership with brick-and-mortar retailers. “Our retail partners are a central part of our success,” says Marco Pirani, General Manager Commercial. “The close collaboration enables us to identify customer needs at an early stage and grow sustainably together.”

For the current 2026 financial year, LOWA expects overall stable development. “In addition to our established core markets, we see further potential particularly in selected international growth markets,” Pirani concludes.
