Jetzendorf, September 17, 2026 – LOWA continues to strengthen its presence in trail running by signing Theres Leboeuf (41), one of the most accomplished athletes in international trail running. The Swiss runner will represent the brand at the sport's most prestigious events while also contributing closely to the development of LOWA's trail running collection.
Theres Leboeuf's sporting journey is anything but conventional. A mother of three, she only started competing in trail running in 2015. Today, she is one of the established names in the sport. Her greatest achievements include winning the Jungfrau Marathon in 2023, claiming bronze at the 2023 Trail Running World Championships in Innsbruck, and securing several podium finishes in the Golden Trail World Series.
Alongside her athletic career, Theres Leboeuf is actively involved in developing the next generation of athletes. As part of the leadership team of youth camps, she supports young trail running talents and promotes an active, healthy lifestyle.
“Theres is an inspiring personality who shows that outstanding athletic goals can be pursued and achieved outside traditional career paths. Her authenticity, love for the mountains, and commitment to trail running make her a valuable addition to our team, both as an athlete and as a person,” says Samuel Grill, Global Category Manager Trail Running at LOWA. “
Working with LOWA means a great deal to me. I appreciate the outstanding product quality, the family-like atmosphere, and the opportunity to contribute my experience and ideas. I'm excited to have a partner by my side who shares my passion for trail running and will support me on the next stages of my journey,” says Theres Leboeuf.
Currently ranked ninth overall in the Golden Trail World Series, Theres Leboeuf is among the world's leading trail runners. The remainder of her season includes appearances at the Myoko Trail in Japan and the Muju Trail Grand Finale in South Korea.
