Description

The waterproof kids’ shoe FAULI GTX LO JR is a colorful companion for little adventurers eager to explore the world outdoors. Developed in collaboration with Miriam and Felix Neureuther and their "Beweg Dich Schlau!" program, the shoe promotes movement and mental fitness for kids. The cute sloth FAULI featured on the shoe adds a playful touch and encourages activity. Designed to meet the needs of active kids, the lightweight and flexible DYNAEVA® midsole provides excellent cushioning for running, jumping, and playing. The LOWA rubber outsole with its dynamic lug design offers reliable traction on any surface - from playgrounds to forest paths and grassy fields. A special highlight: the sole is divided into three color zones - forefoot, midfoot, and heel - a concept from the "Beweg Dich Schlau!" experts that visually supports proper movement. Thanks to the practical quick-lacing system, FAULI GTX LO JR can be put on in seconds - no need to tie laces - and the waterproof GORE-TEX membrane keeps little feet dry even in rain or when splashing in puddles. With its kid-friendly, vibrant design and the strong message behind the "Beweg Dich Schlau!" initiative, FAULI GTX LO JR brings fun and movement into everyday life, motivating kids to get outside and join in.

    To withstand the children’s outdoor adventures, the shoe has been made from a robust upper material. The blend of textile and synthetic materials is comfortable to wear, yet also very hard-wearing.

    • Why is the shoe called FAULI?

      The shoe is named after the little sloth from Felix Neureuther’s programme “Beweg dich schlau!”. The aim of his initiative is to encourage children to be more active.

    • What are the benefits of a DYNEVA midsole?

      The DYNEVA midsole is an evolution of classic EVA soles, developed by LOWA. It combines cushioning, stability and durability. This means consistent comfort, more efficient walking and better support in the midfoot. And all this whilst weighing less than conventional materials. Ideal for lightweight hiking or multi-purpose shoes for children and adults.

    • What sort of activities is the Fauli suitable for?

      The LOWA FAULI GTX is a versatile shoe that’s ideal for all kinds of outdoor activities for children. From the daily journey to school to an afternoon of playing with friends and even light hikes, the Fauli is up for anything. And thanks to the Gore-Tex membrane, wet weather is no obstacle either.

    • What makes (hiking) shoes for children special?

      Unlike adults’ feet, children’s feet are still soft and growing. Shoes that are too tight can cause misalignment. That is why children’s feet – particularly in the toe area – need space to develop properly. The sole must not be too stiff either, so that children can learn to walk naturally. For the sake of simplicity, children’s shoes are often fitted with Velcro fastenings or quick-lacing systems.
