LOWA prize draw following participation in a market survey
Participation in prize draws organised by LOWA Sportschuhe GmbH, Hauptstr. 19, 85305 Jetzendorf, Germany (hereinafter referred to as the ‘organiser’) is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions also include data protection information for participants.
To enter the competition “LOWA Survey Competition” (hereinafter referred to as the “Competition”), you must successfully register your entry at https://newsletter.lowa.com/registration-competition?last_campaign=brand_tracker_en_2026_06, including confirmation.
To take part in the competition, you must accept the General Terms and Conditions of LOWA Sportschuhe GmbH, which are available via the following link: https://lowa.com/en/general-terms-and-conditions
“Content” for the purposes of these terms and conditions of entry refers to all content and information uploaded, submitted or otherwise provided by participants in connection with the competition, such as photos, graphics, videos, text, comments or details regarding places and people.
ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS
Eligible to enter are natural persons resident in Europe* who are aged 18 or over. Participation is not restricted to customers of the organiser and is not conditional upon the purchase of any goods or services. Employees of the organiser and its affiliated companies, as well as their family members, are not eligible to take part in the competition. Furthermore, the organiser to exclude persons from taking part at its own discretion if there are valid grounds for doing so, for example: a) in the event of manipulation in connection with the running of the competition; b) in the event of breaches of these terms and conditions of entry; c) in the event of false or misleading information provided in connection with participation in the competition.

PARTICIPATION
All entries received by the deadline and which are fully completed will be entered into the prize draw.
Entry to the prize draw is confirmed upon registration at https://newsletter.lowa.com/registration-competition?last_campaign=brand_tracker_en_2026_06 By submitting the form, the participant accepts the terms and conditions of entry. Entry is only possible until the closing date.

The winner of the prize draw will be notified by the organiser by email within one month of the closing date for entries. If the winner does not respond within one week of being notified of their win, the organiser is entitled to select a new winner. The prize will be awarded exclusively to the winner. The prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. Confirmation of the win, including all relevant details, will be sent to the winner by email. The winner is personally responsible for any tax liability on the prize.

The winner will be selected after the closing date for entries in a random draw from among all entrants. No legal recourse is available with regard to the drawing of the winners.
The prize may be altered, suspended or cancelled by the organiser at any time if there are valid reasons to do so (e.g. illness, danger to life or limb, or other circumstances).
LOWA shall only be liable for wilful misconduct and gross negligence. This shall not apply in the event of a negligent breach of a fundamental contractual obligation. These are obligations that are essential to the running of the competition, as they are what make it possible in the first place, and on the fulfilment of which the participant therefore relies and is entitled to rely. In this case, LOWA’s liability for simple negligence is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of this type of competition. The above limitations of liability do not apply in the event of injury to life, limb or health; in the case of a defect following the assumption of quality guarantees for the quality of a product; or in the case of defects fraudulently concealed. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
Insofar as our liability is excluded or limited, this also applies to the personal liability of our employees, representatives and vicarious agents, as well as to the liability of the sponsor(s). In the event of a breach of duty due to gross negligence on the part of our vicarious agents, the aforementioned limitations shall apply to breaches due to slight negligence of material obligations.
TERMINATION OF THE COMPETITION

The organiser expressly reserves the right to suspend or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons, and to amend these terms and conditions of entry. This applies in particular in the event of external circumstances and constraints, including, in particular, technical problems, changes in the law or compelling measures taken by third parties that are beyond our control.
DATA PROTECTION
To take part in the competition, you must provide personal (person-related) data. The participant warrants that the personal details they have provided, in particular their first name, surname, country and email address, are true and accurate.
Participants’ personal data will not be passed on to third parties or made available to them for use without their consent.
With the participant’s consent, their personal data will be used by LOWA Sportschuhe GmbH for the following marketing purposes until such consent is withdrawn by the participant (see Withdrawal):
· Sending the LOWA newsletter containing information on products, sales promotions and services, as well as other LOWA- and product-related topics, and analysing this through the individual measurement, storage and evaluation of open rates and click-through rates in recipient profiles for the purpose of designing future newsletters
· Use of the data to create personalised emails tailored to the recipients’ interests and behaviour.
· Segmentation of the target audience based on demographic information, purchasing behaviour or interests, to enable more targeted marketing measures.
· Analysis of customer behaviour through the evaluation of open and click-through rates as well as other interactions,
· Conducting remarketing campaigns to deliver interest-based, targeted advertising to people who have already shown an interest in our products or services.
· Optimising marketing content by measuring effectiveness and gaining insights into the target audience’s preferences and behaviour.
· Use of data for cross-device tracking to monitor user behaviour across different devices and ensure a consistent marketing message.
In the event of a win, the winner consents to the publication of their name in the promotional media used by the organiser. This includes the announcement of the winner on the organiser’s website and social media platforms.
The legal basis for the processing is Article 6(1), first sentence, point (b) of the GDPR, insofar as the processing is necessary for the provision, conduct and administration of the competition. Where participants have given their consent to the processing, the legal basis is Article 6(1), first sentence, point (a) of the GDPR. The processing is carried out in accordance with Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) of the GDPR, insofar as it serves our legitimate interests in ensuring the security of the prize draw or in protecting our interests against misuse.
Participants may at any time request information about their data stored by the organiser, object to the use of their data and request its erasure. Once consent has been withdrawn, the participant’s personal data that has been collected and stored will be deleted immediately. WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT
The participant may withdraw their consent to the storage of data at any time. This can be done at any time in writing via https://newsletter.lowa.com/update-preferences
