Die Wanderreporterin

LOWA Ambassadors

The theme of the "Wanderreporterin" blog is quite simple: "Hiking with all your senses." But the blog offers more than just musings about nature. It is also dedicated to sporting challenges, such as 24-hour hikes or hikes lasting from several days to several weeks.

  • The hiking reporter writes sincerely, honestly and authentically about her experiences and emotions while out in nature. Her aim is to break down her readers' inhibitions and stimulate their interest in hiking.

THE HIKING REPORTER,
THE BLOGGER SCENE IS CONSTANTLY GROWING. WHAT MAKES A GOOD BLOGGER FOR YOU?

"She writes authentically about her own experiences and adventures while hiking, travelling or in which area she is active as a blogger. Ideally, she is well connected and shares her messages on other social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. The intention behind this is usually - at least for me - to communicate. In addition to my friends and acquaintances, I can also reach people who were previously complete strangers to me and, in the best case scenario, encourage them to do the same. My aim is to get people outdoors and into nature."

HOW DID YOU BECOME A BLOGGER?

"By chance. It all started with an assignment to walk the Palatinate Way of St James and write about it. At the same time, I posted daily on Facebook about my experiences on the tour. This was very well received and I was subsequently confronted with the suggestion "Why don't you start a blog?". The WanderReporter was born. As a result, I realised that my articles were being read and that there was a demand for my type of reporting - and the trend was increasing."

HOW DID THE COLLABORATION WITH LOWA COME ABOUT?

"Employees from LOWA had seen pictures of me on Instagram and contacted me. At the same time, I had commented on a LOWA post and received an invitation to a meeting: "We wanted to talk to you anyway, because your visual language and style suit LOWA." We then met up at ISPO. It was a good fit. Since then, I've not only been travelling as a hiking reporter but also as a kind of brand ambassador for LOWA, which I can do with pride and full conviction. Because: I love my LOWAs."
