Philipp Hans is a 29-year-old climber and extreme athlete. Born in Stuttgart, Philipp discovered his passion for rock climbing and difficult first ascents at an early age. Nevertheless, he has always remained rooted in his home town and still lives in Stuttgart today.

His enthusiasm for climbing was decisively influenced by his role model, Stefan Glowacz. At the tender age of 12, Philipp attended a lecture organised by Stefan - and was fascinated from the very first minute by the pictures and stories Stefan had to show and tell. He was so fascinated that from that day on, he had a deep desire to go on an expedition himself. Preferably with Stefan Glowacz, of course. And this dream actually became reality in 2018! Together with Stefan Glowacz and professional ice crosser Thomas Ulrich, he travelled to Greenland - the fulfilment of a childhood dream.
